Those stones are still on the bridge and I myself lifted one in each hand on many occasions and one market day, I carried them across the bridge and back, some four to five yards - Donald Dinnie.

Annika's lift was witnessed by Brett Nicol, Jim & Rosemary Splaine, Lydia Nicol & the large crowd of spectators and lifters in attendance. Annika has added her name to the history books by becoming the first lady lifter to complete an incredible full unassisted lift and hold of the mighty Dinnie Stones. Well done Annika!
