Those stones are still on the bridge and I myself lifted one in each hand on many occasions and one market day, I carried them across the bridge and back, some four to five yards - Donald Dinnie.

Brian Shaw - At Potarch, Aberdeenshire –18th April 2019

Brian travelled to Potarch along with Eddie Hall, Robert Oberst & Nick Best to record an episode of The Strongest Man in History, a series created by the History Channel. Brian attempted to carry the stones across the bridge at Potarch without setting them down and managed a new World Record distance of 11 feet 6.5 inches (Brian's record has since been beaten). Brian's lift was witnessed by Stevie Shanks, Brett Nicol, Jim & Rosemary Splaine, Helen Knowles, Malcolm Nicol & the large crowd of spectators, lifters and film crew in attendance.
