Those stones are still on the bridge and I myself lifted one in each hand on many occasions and one market day, I carried them across the bridge and back, some four to five yards - Donald Dinnie.

A Big thank you to Willie Morison & Ken Morrison for sending this Photo of Charlie McLaggan from Bridge of Don lifting the Dinnie Stones in 1971 (assisted) we often spoke to Charlie who was a good friend of ours about his lift, and he told me he was unsure of any photos of the lift. Sadly Charlie died on the 21st of November 2021, sadly missed. Great Lift Charlie. RIP
