Those stones are still on the bridge and I myself lifted one in each hand on many occasions and one market day, I carried them across the bridge and back, some four to five yards - Donald Dinnie.

Red successfully lifted the Dinnie Stones at The Gathering making her only the 9th ever lady lifter. Red's lift was witnessed by event officials Matt Jones, Chloe Brennan, Stig Parker, Brett Nicol, Stevie Shanks, Jim & Rosemary Splaine and the large crowd of spectators and lifters in attendance. Head referee and the first lady lifter Dr Jan Todd was also in attendance to witness Red's lift.
